TaylorDanes Great Danes and TaylorMade Standard Poodles

♥ Welcome to TaylorDane Great Danes and TaylorMade Standard Poodles  ♥

Hello, I am Deborah Taylor and I am located in a beautiful rural area of Bradford, Mass.
A professional all breed dog and cat groomer
for 24+ yrs and owner of TaylorMade Grooming in Peabody, Ma., I have owned great danes since 1974 and standard poodles since 1998.
This is my 43th yr of owning and raising great danes,  starting with a wonderful brindle male, out of CH. Big Kim of Bella Dane and many, many years with my harlequins from the Maitau, BMW and Von Shrado lines, and currently Wil-Tor and Davisdane great danes.
I am extremely pleased (and blessed) to say that these danes lived very long lives, between 10 and 13 yrs., which I contribute to, not only the breeders involved but, the nutritional and lifestyle choices I make for my dogs.
I have loved so many dogs in my life, most recently though; my 2 fawn great danes,
CH. Wil-Tor's Sure Shot, Gunner (10+ yrs when he passed) and CH Wil-Tor's SureFire Fun In The Sun, Gidget (10+ yrs when she recently passed), Davisdane Can't Duck the Law at Wil-Tor, Dillon (4yrs!), who I co own with Eve Williams of Wil-Tor Great Danes and Sue Davis of Davisdane, as well as my 2 standard poodles and mini dachshund, Lucy (passed on in Dec. 2016)

My love of standards started with Syrena Bradford's Bit O' Honey (14+ yrs when she passed)  (AKC multiple ptd.),  from the Syrena x Degana lines which I bred to the My Deer x Whisperwind lines resulting in my CH. TaylorMade's My Deer Angel Eyes, Arielle (14+ yrs ) (finishing with several Major Best of Variety wins from the classes over specials) and TaylorMade's My Deer ArchAngel, Gabriel (13+ yrs when he passed last year) (9 pts. towards his AKC Champion title, including several Best of Varieties and Specialty Major Reserves).  Also loved is our Skilo Bear's Nina, samoyed (14+ yrs when she passed)... And of course, Ms. Lucy, (ageless!), my little red dapple adopted dachshund, who ruled the roost!  :'(  ♥

Over these many years, I have been more than happy to have healthy, happy pups joining forces with knowledgeable, esteemed breeders and now friends, and spent years building the most awesome pedigrees I could hope to acquire, standing behind my dogs. ♥

I have also been involved with rescues for more than 40 years, owning and loving several breeds of rescued and adopted dogs, and while fostering, have whelped, raised and placed several litters into their forever homes.  My recent adoption is lil' Squirt! An adorable 5 pound Norfolk terrier look alike, but his real ancestry is totally a guess!

The breeding decisions I made, were to compliment sire and dam pedigrees. I focused on health, longevity, temperament and conformation; while striving to produce puppies that come as close as possible to the PCA (Poodle Club of America) standards, and to the GDCA (Great Dane Club of America) standards as well.
My main concern for the pups that did not stay with me, was to find loving and responsible homes.  Puppies only went to homes after all personal and vet references had been checked and approved along with a signed contract, with one of the stipulations being, that pups must live inside the home as an integral part of the family.

I make a lifetime commitment to all dogs and I am more than willing to help you with any questions or concerns whenever you need me. ♥

I believe there are many factors that contribute to health & longevity.
I have very strong convictions about lifestyle, diet and supplements.♥

Thank you very much for your interest in my great danes and standard poodles. ♥
